A 24-page guide to the Stirling Palace Tapestries. The colourful embroidered artworks keep the Scottish Renaissance spirit alive at the palace. They were commissioned exclusively for Stirling Castle and palace.
Photographs and illustrations reveal the true splendour of the design. The most famous section is 'The Hunt of the Unicorn', dating to medieval times. A team of weavers completed new tapestries using centuries-old techniques and modern technology. These newer sections can be seen in the Queen's Inner Hall.
